The SBAS Open Service is a service that provides positioning and timing information to mass-market case studies for which GNSS signal integrity is not an issue.
These are case studies in various domains such as agriculture, geolocation, maritime, road and railway transport.
The targeted OS service area is evolving. It concerns the Member States of West Africa,
Central Africa and the Indian Ocean from 2025 onwards, with the possibility of
covering all of sub-Saharan African states beyond that.
