The Satellite-Based Augmentation System (SBAS) makes mechanisation of agriculture possible through machine guidance, biomass monitoring, livestock tracking, crop monitoring, yield monitoring and even infrastructure monitoring through remote sensing.
Specifically, SBAS can reduce wasteful overuse of fertilisers, herbicides and seeds through accurate positioning. Efficiency and yields for small and large farmers are increased by up to 50 times and 10 times respectively with SBAS.
